“To commemorate our first episode, we present Himeji Castle.”

記念すべき第1回目は姫路城です。

“Himeji Castle is a national treasure and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.”

姫路城は日本の国宝であり世界遺産です。

“This castle is considered the most famous and beautiful castle in Japan. Due to its stunning appearance, it is also known as the ‘White Heron Castle.’ Built in 1580, it is one of the twelve Japanese castles with original surviving keeps.”

このお城は日本で1番有名で美しいとされているお城です。その美しい見た目からまたの名を「白鷺城」と呼ばれています。1580年に建てられ天守閣が現存する日本の城12のうちの１つです。

“Isn’t it beautiful? It’s like stepping back in time to the Sengoku period.”

美しいでしょう？まるで戦国時代にタイムスリップしたみたいです。

“The interior is entirely made of wood, yet it’s hard to believe it’s been 500 years.”

中は全て木で作られていますが、500年以上もた前に作られたとは思えないです。
